As you may know, our daughter went in for some testing last week, a scope of sorts. Upon examination things looked good, but we’ve been waiting for the biopsy results to come back. This morning we got the good news, the biopsy results came back negative. This means that the condition she has is essentially in remission with treatment. Woo-hoo! PTL! (that’s Praise the Lord)
This doesn’t answer the question of why she’s still having some symptoms, but there was perhaps a clue seen via the scope. So, we’ll explore that more and see what her doctor thinks and wants to do next. It may mean surgery, but that’s a bit premature at this point. If that fixes the problem and she feels better it will be worthwhile, but it does worry me a bit. Both of my children have had to have surgery. Thankfully the issues have been minor, but it’s still a bit worrisome to have them put under and such. I know there are plenty of others who have been through so much more.
The other good news is that Michael and I have planned a date for tomorrow...dinner and a movie, just the two of us! I’m really looking forward to it.
